The story of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning has been a turbulent one, with plenty of industry drama ensuring it lived, died, and was reborn in the near-decade since its initial release.
Now, things are looking rosier in the RPG garden once more, as there’s an unexpected return journey to the Kingdoms on the horizon in the form of brand new DLC Expansion; Fatesworn.
Coming to the remastered version of KoA:R on December 14, Fatesworn continues the story of the Fateless One after the end of the Crystal War. With old threats out of the way, another emerges in the snow-covered lands of Mithros in the form of the God of Chaos. It’ll be up to the Fateless One to prevent an uprising of the God’s growing following.
The expansion includes a higher level cap of 50, a host of fresh quests, side quests, environments, weapons, armour, and enemies, plus a whole new gameplay mechanic in among the goodies.
Brand new Chaos Realm dungeons will also appear all over the map, not just in the expansion. To top it all off, Grant Kirkhope has composed a separate soundtrack especially for Fatesworn.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning - Fatesworn will release December 14 on PC for an SRP of $19.99/ £17.99, while the original game is already available to buy.
