The Summoner’s Rift may seem dark and mysterious, but it’s not off-limits when it comes to celebrating the festive Lunar New Year. After the Winterblessed event ends, players will have more exciting things to look forward to in the upcoming League of Legends Chinese New Year 2024 event. This usually means a few things: new skins, missions, rewards, and more. Here’s what you should know about the LoL Lunar New Year event.
League of Legends Chinese New Year 2024 Event
Riot Games has officially announced that League’s Chinese New Year 2024 event has two separate start dates for different audiences across the world.
Chinese players can hop in starting on January 31, 2024 at 6:00 PM PT/February 1, 2024 at 10 AM CST. The rest of the world will be able to begin chasing new rewards on February 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM PT/2 PM ET/7 PM GMT, alongside patch 14.3.

The event will end on March 11 at 11:59 PM PT/2:59 AM ET (March 12)/7:59 AM GMT (March 12) while its dedicated shop will remain open for an additional week.
LoL’s Lunar New Year event 2024 has its own dedicated Pass, which costs 1650 RP and instantly unlocks 200 Lunar Revel 2024 Tokens and 4 Heavenscale Orbs while granting access to a series of premium rewards.
The LoL Lunar Revel 2024 Pass bundle sets you back 2650 RP adding Ezreal, his new Heavenscale Ezreal skin, and the Heavenscale Ezreal Border Icon & Border to the goodies mentioned above.
The Premium Pass Bundle, which is priced at 3650 RP, promises an even sweeter deal by adding the Heavenscale Ezreal’s “Auspicious” chroma and the “No Plan Survives” emote to everything included its standard counterpart.
Heavenscale Missions act as one means of obtaining event XP as you play matches. Some of their goals include eliminating minions, getting a set amount of vision score, or defeating enemy champions.
The Heavenscale Mega Bundle debuts on February 7 with brand new skins for the likes of Lee Sin, Kai’Sa, Diana, and more. Later, on February 22, you can also add teh Porcelain Mega Bundle to your collection.

As a final treat, the Ultra Rapid Fire game mode, also known as URF, is bound to make a return when League’s Lunar New Year event 2024 goes live.
Players in Europe, Russia, and Turkey, can pick it starting with February 7 at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET/4 PM GMT with the rest of the world joining in three hours later. The mode will stick around until March 11 at 11:59 PM PT/2:59 AM ET (March 12)/7:59 AM GMT (March 12).
