League of Legends’ patch 14.3 release date brings us new content and balance changes at the start of February. With the MOBA’s newest season in full swing and 2024’s Lunar Revel event just around the corner, there’s no shortage of excitement throughout Summoner’s Rift.
After its predecessor set the stage for the MOBA’s newest dragon champion to enter the fray, LoL’s patch 14.3 release date aims to build on those changes in early February 2024. Read on for everything we know about it so far.
League of Legends Patch 14.3 Release Date
League’s patch 14.3’s release date is slated to occur on Wednesday, February 7, as revealed in the official patch schedule for the year.

Coming our way is a set of new Heavenscale skins just in time for its Lunar Revel event. Master Yi, Ezreal, Diana, Lee Sin, Kai’Sa, and Janna join Smolder to receive stylish new looks. In addition, the Divine Heavenscale Lee Sin and Prestige Heavenscale Ezreal skin will also be made available.
Lead Gameplay Designer Matt Leung-Harrison has also shared the patch 14.3 preview, explaining the team’s goals with the update while highlighting upcoming buffs and nerfs.
Building on the changes introduced last patch, burst damage from items will be further reduced. AP mana items will receive improvements, while others will be toned down, as part of a series of systemic proc nerfs.
Pike, Nidalee, and Wukong should feel stronger, while Azir, Karma, and Lillia have nerfs coming their way. Additionally, Aurelion Sol, Ilaoi, and Shaco count among the champions set to receive more nuanced adjustments.
For the ARAM mode, we can expect Twisted Fate, Karma, and Briar’s power to be reined in while Hwei and Zed should feel stronger than before.
The addition of Riot’s proprietary anti-cheat software to League of Legends and Teamfight tactics has also been postponed until patch 14.5, following the discovery of several critical bugs with a planned client pop-up.

- Mana cost per second decreased to 30/35/40/45/50 from 45/50/55/60/65
- Stardust stacks per champion burst increased to 3 from 1
Astral Flight (W):
- Mana cost decreased to 50/55/60/65/70 from 80/85/90/95/100
- Cooldown decreased to 15/14/13/12/11 seconds from 22/20.5/19/17.5/16 seconds
- Bonus damage increased to 18/20/22/24/26% from 14/15.5/17/18.5/20%
Singularity (E):
- Stardust stacks per champion takedown decreased to 2 from 5
- Stardust stacks per epic monster takedown decreased to 2 from 5
- Stardust stacks per cannon minion takedown decreased to 2 from 3
- Stardust stacks per large monster takedown decreased to 2 from 3
Azir - Nerfed
Stats:
- Base health regeneration decreased to 5 from 7
Brand - Nerfed
Blaze (Passive):
- Damage to monsters modifier decreased to 200% from 220%
- Bugfix: Blaze no longer deals more than 2% maximum health damage over a single application.
Sear (Q):
- Damage decreased to 70/100/130/160/190 (+65% AP) from 80/110/140/170/200 (+65% AP)
Corki - Changed
Special Delivery (Passive):
- Package duration decreased to 45 seconds from 60 seconds
Vakyrie (W):
- Cooldown decreased to 20/18/16/14/12 seconds from 20/19/18/17/16 seconds

- Grub proof: Shaco’s Jack in the Boxes are no longer one-shot by Grubs.
Two-Shiv Poison (E):
- Mana cost increased to 75 from 65
Hallucinate (R):
- Shaco’s clone now creates an orange poof when it snaps back to Shaco or teleports for any reason.
- Shaco’s clone duration is now displayed on the HUD.
- Shaco’s clone no longer loses its auto attack target when casting spells.
Shyvana - Buffed
Twin Bite (Q):
- Empowered attack bonus damage increased to 100% AD (+50% AP) from 100% AD (+35% AP)
- Bonus attack speed increased to 50/55/60/65/70% from 40/45/50/55/60%
Burnout (W):
- Bonus movement speed increased to 30/35/40/45/50% (+0.12% AP) from 30/35/40/45/50% (+0.8% AP)
Taliyah - Buffed
Threaded Volley (Q):
- Damage increased to 60/78/96/114/132 (+50% AP) from 50/70/90/110/130 (+50% AP)
Unraveled Earth (E):
- Cooldown decreased to 14 seconds at all ranks from 16/15.5/15/14.5/14 seconds
Teemo - Changed
Blinding Dart (Q):
- QoL Adjustment: Teemo Q blind should now immediately apply to targets hit by the Q, preventing Teemo from taking damage from an auto attack after the blind has been applied. Blind duration should now also be consistent with the debuff duration above the target’s health bar.
Trundle - Nerfed
Base Stats:
- Base health decreased to 650 from 686
Chomp (Q):
- Bonus attack damage decreased to 10/30/50/70/90 (+15/25/35/45/55% AD) from 20/40/60/80/100 (+15/25/35/45/55% AD)
Twitch - Changed
Contaminate (E):
- QoL Adjustment: If Twitch uses his E at the same time his poison expires on an enemy, they will now take damage based on the number of stacks they had when the poison expired. This should result in the E cast being just slightly more forgiving.
Wukong - Buffed
Crushing Blow (Q):
- Bonus range increased to 135/145/155/165/175 from 75/100/125/150/175
- Bonus physical damage increased to 20/45/70/95/120 (+55% bonus AD) from 20/45/70/95/120 (+45% bonus AD)
Nimbus Strike (E):
- Cooldown decreased to 10/9.25/8.5/7.75/7 seconds from 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 seconds
Yorick - Changed
Shepherd of Souls (Passive):
- Summon leash range decreased to 1600 from 2000
- New: Return Speed: Yorick’s summons now gain bonus movement speed when returning to Yorick. This movement speed bonus is based on the distance between Yorick and the summon.
Last Rites (Q):
- Heal changed to 10-68 (based on level) (+4/5/6/7/8% missing health), halved vs non-champions from 10-68 (based on level), doubled when below 50% health
- Mana cost decreased to 20 from 25
Mourning Mist (E):
- Cast time decreased to 0.25 seconds from 0.33
Eulogy of the Isles (R):
- Bonus damage when attacking Maiden’s target changed to 2/2.5/3% maximum health (capped at 100 vs monsters), no cooldown from 3/6/9% maximum health (capped at 100/200/300 vs monsters), 2 second cooldown
Zeri - Buffed
Stats:
- Base AD increased to 56 from 53
Lightning Crash (R):
- Cooldown decreased to 80/75/70 seconds from 100/85/70 seconds
Ziggs - Buffed
Stats:
- Base armor decreased to 21 from 18
- Armor growth increased to 4.7 from 4.5
Satchel Charge (W):
- Cooldown decreased to 20/18/16/14/12 seconds from 24/21/18/15/12 seconds
Zyra - Changed
Stats:
- Base mana regeneration decreased to 7 from 13
- Mana regeneration growth increased to 0.8 from 0.4
Deadly Spines (Q):
- Mana Cost decreased to 55 from 70
Rampart Growth (W):
- Seed charge progression on minion/monster takedown increased to 35% from 20%
