Legends of Runeterra has opened its gates and knowing how to import and export decks can make your life a bit easier in Riot’s collectible card game.
Importing decks in Legends of Runeterra is useful when you want to try out a deck built by someone else, while exporting decks lets people share their own with the community. Here’s everything you need to know about how to perform both actions.
Legends of Ruenterra Importing and Exporting Decks
So, how do you import and export decks in Legends of Runeterra? Both actions require going to your Collections tab where you’ll find all your existing decks.
In order to import a deck into Legends of Runeterra, you first need to find its deck code. Certain websites have them clearly shown while others will require pressing something like an “Export Deck” button.
Once you have your desired deck code, copy it (CTRL+C), go into the Collections tab, click the “Import Deck” button at the top and paste the deck code (CTRL+V).
The deck will be labeled “Imported Deck”, making it rather easy to spot your new additions. If you don’t yet have certain cards that the deck requires, you can purchase them using Wild Cards or Shards.
With importing a deck out of the way, how do you export a deck in Legends of Runeterra? Perhaps you’ve struck gold with a certain combination of cards or just want to share your deck with friends; that’s where exporting your deck comes in handy.
To export one of your decks in Legends of Runeterra, go to your Collections tab and click on the desired deck. On the left side of its icon, you’ll spot the “Share” button.
Click it and it’ll generate a code, much like the one you used when importing a deck. All that’s left now is to share the code with friends or others online and they’ll be able to import your deck to their account.
