Maneater’s apex predators are introduced as the fiercest opponents of their kind and you’ll have to fight quite a few on your quest for revenge against Scaly Pete. But where can you find their locations?
Here are the locations where you can find Maneater’s apex predators alongside the rewards you get from defeating them.
Maneater Apex Predators Location
There’s no escaping Maneater’s apex predators, as killing them is required to progress through each of the game’s areas.
Apex predators enter an area as soon as you’ve completed enough tasks for progress. You’ll get a notification on your screen and can find them easily, since their locations are marked with fresh quest markers.
Each of Maneater’s Apex Predators drops an Evolution that alters the shark’s abilities.
Approach the location and you’ll get a cutscene that looks much like the screenshots above, after which you get to fight the apex predators.
Although there’s quite a bit of build-up leading to the fights, they’re really just tankier versions of existing wildlife you’ve already faced. Here are the locations of all apex predators in Maneater:
- Apex Barracuda - Dead Horse Lake, rewards Bone Teeth
- Apex Mako - Golden Shores, rewards Bone Fins
- Apex Alligator - Fawtick Bayou, rewards Amphibious
- Apex Hammerhead - Sapphire Bay, rewards Bone Body
- Apex Great White - Prosperity Sands, rewards Bone Tail
- Apex Orca - Caviar Key, rewards Bone Head
- Apex Sperm Whale - The Gulf, rewards Subliminal Evasion
Should you have trouble with any of Maneater’s apex predators, keep in mind that you can change your equipped Evolutions in your Grotto. Additionally, your speed lets you break off to eat nearby fish and refill your health before going back into the fight.
