Open world action RPG Maneater is nearing its release date and players intrigued by the premise of playing as a deadly shark might be wondering whether or not the title is also coming to Steam.

Maneater Steam Release Date
At launch, the PC version of Maneater will be available exclusively through the Epic Games Store. While that might disappoint Steam users, they will get a chance to play as a shark, eventually.
“The game is being sold on Steam after a timed delayed [sic]. Our partners at Valve want future Steam users to be informed about the game as well.”, developer Tripwire Interactive said in a comment earlier in February.
While the Maneater Steam release date is listed as TBA, there’s a chance that, like other Epic Games Store exclusives, it will come to Steam one year later.
An FAQ post on developer Tripwire Interactive’s forums suggests as much, pointing at May 22, 2021 as being Maneater’s Steam release date.
