As Marvel’s Avengers draws closer to its September release date, more info on its skins is being shared, giving fans a better idea of the options available in terms of keeping their favorite superheroes stylish.
As past reveals have shown, there will be quite a few Marvel’s Avengers costumes that players can choose from to give each playable hero alternative looks.
Marvel’s Avengers’ outfits have been confirmed as full looks for heroes by Lead Designer Philippe Therien, meaning that players will, unfortunately, not be able to mix and match pieces from different costumes.

Pre-purchasing the game will give you the Marvel Legacy Outfit pack that features more retro-inspired skins for the game’s five characters, including Captain America.
The Deluxe Edition comes with the Obsidian Outfit pack which introduces an additional set of Marvel’s Avengers costumes for players to use. On top of dressing Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, Hulk, and Ms. Marvel in cool new garb, it also gets you additional cosmetic items in the shape of six exclusive Obsidian-themed nameplates.
Reddit user smoove4254 has leaked three new sets of skins tied to brand deals with Verizon, Virgin Media and Intel that will likely only be available to users of the brands’ products.
A tweet from Creative Director/Writer Shaun Escayg reveals a set of more futuristic-looking Marvel’s Avengers outfits that have an overall Iron Man vibe. The Hulk himself wears equipment resembling Tony Stark’s in a screenshot shared on the PlayStation blog.
