Publisher Warner Bros. Games has unveiled the start and end dates for platform fighter MultiVersus’ closed alpha test. Lucky players have a bit over a week to try out its roster of characters, which features quite a few names from multiple popular universes.
MultiVersus’ closed alpha will include its team-based 2v2 mode, alongside characters such as Batman, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, Shaggy, Bugs Bunny, Arya Stark, and more. Some will be available from the start while others can be unlocked while playing

Available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4, it will feature full crossplay support and dedicated server-based rollback netcode.
MultiVersus closed alpha has locked down its start date to May 19, being set to end on May 27. Players looking for a chance to get in can sign up via the game’s official website.
- MultiVersus closed alpha start date: May 19 9 AM PDT/12 PM EDT/5 PM BST
- MultiVersus closed alpha end date: May 27 at 5 PM PDT/8 PM EDT/1 AM BST (May 28)
Anyone who has participated in previous PC tests will get access to the PC closed alpha. Aside from its 2v2 mode, players will also get the chance to play, 1v1 and 4-player free-for-all matches, as well as practice their skills in The Lab.
