Need For Speed: Unbound will be screeching onto PC this December and that’s likely to see it appearing on the Christmas lists of a few game-loving petrolheads, but it would be unfortunate if they couldn’t get together and race the streets with harmony (and rivalry) in mind.
So, does Need For Speed: Unbound have co-op support and competitive multiplayer? The answer is yes.
Will Need For Speed: Unbound have co-op multiplayer modes?
As with other recent Need For Speed titles, Need For Speed: Unbound will feature a suite of online multiplayer modes, but for co-op play specifically, there’s a campaign that’s dedicated to multiplayer.
- Co-op support: Yes, it will be ready at launch and Crossplay is available too
The only hitch there is a smaller playing pool than usual because Need For Speed: Unbound will be shunning the likes of PS4 and Xbox One, leaving just the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S for crossplay company.
Multiplayer will consist of online events, online challenges, and online meetups between 2 - 16 players per lobby.
Need For Speed Unbound will steer onto Steam on December 2, 2022.
