Free-to-play ARPG Path of Exile has finally made its way to all major platforms six years after release. Given how the title boasts a multiplayer component, some might be wondering about whether Path of Exile crossplay is available or not.
Here’s what we know about Path of Exile crossplay.

At the moment, the title’s different versions are entirely separated, Path of Exile crossplay not being available for Grinding Gear Games’ ARPG.
Back in November, Grinding Gears Games’ Chris Wilson said this about Path of Exile crossplay in an interview with PC Invasion: “That’s a “no” as well. We want to focus on our design and implementation based on the system that people are playing on. We also don’t want to create any type of advantage or disadvantage because the game will play vastly different depending on your choice of system. Plus, we don’t want any antagonism to develop among console owners.”.
Later in December, speaking to AltChar, Wilson said that the developer “would love” to implement Path of Exile crossplay, but that it’s not entirely their call. He continued saying that “we’ll be investigating once we’ve got the PlayStation platform launched and running”.
While Path of Exile crossplay isn’t entirely out of the question, it’s probably safe to assume that it will be a while before it’s implemented.
