Phantom Doctrine</a> might have had a rocky release, but that doesn't mean that it's not a great game now, having received a number of patches and some additional polish.
The latest major update for Phantom Doctrine is - appropriately - Halloween-themed, bringing various festive cosmetics to the mix, as well as a number of community-driven fixes and changes, plus some brand new content as well.
The Halloween Scare Tactics Update and DLC includes numerous new character customisation options, various gameplay refinements, changes to stealth-related perks and abilities, an improved UI, and animation and gameplay improvements across the board! All of it at no additional charge whatsoever.
Alongside the update, developers are also going to be offering Phantom Doctrine on Steam at a 25% discount starting today, 29th of October, at 10 AM PT / 13 PM ET / 19 PM CEST. This deal will be available until the 1st of November, so be sure to make use of it if you're interested.
Since we've reviewed Phantom Doctrine, developers seem to have tackled the majority of our complaints head-on, bringing much-needed improvements to stealth and combat, as well as fixing the ridiculous flanking issues and underscoring what the game did right. Should make for a considerably more enticing package this time around.
