Rockstar Games could soon be getting ready to release the original Red Dead Redemption on PC, according to a listing spotted on the PlayStation Store.
“Experience the epic western adventures that defined a generation — now on PC for the first time ever.” reads a recently updated description on the PlayStation Store page for Red Dead Redemption.
When will Red Dead Redemption be released on PC?
Rockstar Games haven’t said anything official yet, but we have reached out to them for comment. It’s possible that the listing could be a mistake, although it appears more likely that someone has accidentally published a PC description on the PlayStation Store.
You can see this as you read further, as it mentions including all the “2023 console version upgrades” and PC-specific improvements like support for widescreen, better framerates, multiple displays, and spatial surround sound.
Red Dead Redemption 2 was released for the PC in November 2019, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the original ever since.
If a release date is officially confirmed, we will come back and update this piece to let you know.
