Resident Evil 2 Remake has just received an up-to-date systems requirements page on Steam, and it's been revealed that the game will be a bit larger than was first anticipated.
Resident Evil 2 Remake size isn't such that the game will be an HDD killer, mind, but it is big enough to warrant at least some consideration as to where, exactly, it'll be getting installed on the majority of gaming machines.
Resident Evil 2 Remake HDD space requirements were previously unavailable for the game's PC version, and all we had to go on was the information displayed on its Xbox page. While the Xbox build of REmake 2 will require 21 GB of hard-drive space, the Steam version will be larger still.
According to the recent update, Resident Evil Remake 2's Steam installation size will be a solid 26 GB, which definitely isn't any sort of deal-breaker, but it is somewhat substantial still. The rest of the system requirements we've already covered earlier on.
This information makes for the final piece of the pre-release puzzle of Resident Evil Remake 2 on Steam, and now all that's left for us to do is wait for the game's inevitable 30-minute one-shot demo, and its eventual release on 25th of January.
