Riders Republic is a celebration of the outdoors that lets players engage in a number of sports, including mountain biking, skiing, and snowboarding at launch. Coming out in late October 2021, players looking to get a taste of its heightened sense of freedom may be wondering if they also have the freedom to avoid a traditional purchase and play the game through Xbox Game Pass.
Xbox Game Pass has amassed an impressive number of games across a variety of different genres. Were Riders Republic to be part of its list, it would add an extra dash of color to the subscription service’s already impressive roster of titles.
Currently, there are no signs pointing towards Riders Republic making its way to Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart in 2021.
Like in the case of Far Cry 6 the reason for this is, most likely, Ubisoft+, the publisher’s own subscription service that uses its most recent releases as an extra incentive to get subscribers.
This essentially means that while you can play Riders Republic without outright buying it, you’ll have to opt for an Ubisoft+ subscription rather than Xbox Game Pass.
It’s unclear whether or not Riders Republic or other recent Ubisoft games will make its way to Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart in the near future but, should that happen, we’ll be sure to update this article.
Riders Republic will, however, make its way to GeForce Now, so owners with older PCs can use the cloud gaming service to hopefully have a smoother experience while playing it.
