As satisfying as building your own factory can be in Coffee Stain Studio’s Satisfactory, a bit of help when it comes to item transportation is always appreciated. Luckily, players who are looking to make their lives easier, or just focus on other things, have the Satisfactory Tractor at their disposal.
Here’s how to drive a Satisfactory Tractor and everything we know about it.
How To Drive a Satisfactory Tractor
<p>
The Satisfactory Tractor unlocks once you reach Tier 3. Also known as The Sugar-Cube, it’s a small four-wheeled vehicle that can either be driven or automated. Meant for early game use, it comes with 25 slots of storage space, a fairly slow speed and rough terrain handling that’s rather poor.
In order to drive the Satisfactory Tractor, you first need to make sure that it has Fuel in its tank. You do so by going to its back and interacting with its workbench. This will open its inventory screen and, to the left, you should see a fuel tank which will, hopefully be full. If it’s not, Fuel is obtained by refining Crude Oil in the Oil Refinery.
Once you’ve made sure that you’ve Fuel in your tank, interact with the Satisfactory Tractor from any point other than its back to jump in. Make sure you handbrake isn’t active by pressing the Spacebar and you should be ready to go. The Tractor’s default controls are W for going forward, S for going backward or slowing down, A for steering left and D for steering right.
