Sea of Thieves offers plenty of chances for loot grabs, and Trading Companies give your character the opportunity to rise through the Emissary flag grade to gain massive gold and xp bonuses to cash in crates. Being an emissary also opens up the option to buy some themed costumes if that’s your thing, but how do you claim emissary rewards?
If you do especially well as an Emissary, you might find yourself scaling the Ledger leaderboard, with the top ranks offering unique emissary sails. To reach the top tier you need to end in the top 25% of the player base, which has been designed to be possible with a healthy focus, and shouldn’t force you to compete with the most elite players for the prize.
Sea of Thieves Emissary Ledger Rewards
The ledger is broken into 4 quarters, and while the bottom 25% won’t earn anything, every rank after that comes with something, and higher tiers include all lower tier rewards.
- Third Tier (third 25%) - Third Tier Title
- Second Tier (next 25%) - Second Tier Sails, Second Tier Title
- Top Tier (top 25% of players) - Top Tier Sails, Top Tier Title
You’ll receive your rewards automatically at the end of the season, but don’t worry if you can’t claim a prize this month, Sea of Thieves has made it clear that “the prizes that are available for each company will never go away.” and that more prizes will be added in the future to “encourage you to reach the top prize tier again.”
