Sea of Thieves introduced the Lost Treasures update on the 27th and with it comes the Hunter’s Haul fishing event. Dip your toes in the water and ready your reel, the event runs from May 27th to June 10th… so make the most of the fishing season while it lasts.
Rewards are a huge part of any event worth mentioning and Hunter’s Haul is no exception. Earn the premium currency of Ancient Coins to spend in the Pirate Emporium, all for collecting the required numbers of Spashtails. Complete the event in full and you’ll earn enough of the Ancient Coins to get the cosmetic fishing rod introduced in the update.

The Hunter’s Haul is a timed special event but the Lost Treasures Update also includes regular events you won’t want to miss:
- Daily Bounties - Complete a challenge each day for a small reward
- Gold Rush - Two hour-long times that boost rewards for every item cashed in
- Fort Nights - The value of Stronghold items will see a boost every Friday night
The update also adds fish themed skins to the Emporium with a full Ruby Splashtail Ship Set, Splashtail Monarch cosmetics.
