Star Wars Battlefront 2 continues to be popular thanks to the range of new content updates, including new maps, classes, characters, modes and timed exclusives. Out now, there's a new Star Wars Battlefront 2 Yavin Ceremony Luke skin skin to unlock, and we'll show you how to do it.
The new Star Wars Battlefront 2 Luke Skywalker Yavin Ceremony skin is based on Luke's ceremonial outfit at the end of Episode IV: A New Hope. The new skin will be only available for 11 days, slightly more that the Farmboy Luke skin event - so follow our guide to unlock it! But can you get it after the event's over? We'll answer that too!
When is the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Yavin Ceremony Luke skin available?
The special A New Hope Ceremony Luke skin for Battlefront II will only be available from October 25 until November 6 onwards as part of the Another Night on Endor "Halloween" event for the game. Once you've unlocked it you get the skin for free, but if you fail to grab it in this week you'll have to pay for it. So let's get doing that!
How to unlock the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Yavin Ceremony Luke skin
Like Farmboy Luke, you'll need to take part in "a special in-game event" - in this case, the Another Night in Endor update, which contains the revamped Ewok Hunt map for Halloween. While the event is going on, you need to get 10 kills in Ewok Hunt - which doesn't sound too bad, especially with more than a week to do it. You can get kills as either a Stormtrooper or Ewok, so even if you get just one kill a game you'll only need to play 10 games to get the skin - be warned though, Assist kills are not counted!
Can you get the Yavin Ceremony Luke skin after the event is over?
The good news is that, if you miss the Yavin Luke unlock event - or couldn't complete it, for whatever reason - the Yavin Ceremony Luke Skywalker skin will be available to buy in-game as an Epic skin. There's no special benefits to Epic skins - they just cost more. You'll need either a hefty 40,000 in-game credits or 1,000 crystals to unlock the Yavin Luke skin, so if possible take part in the event and unlock him for free.
Alternatively, if you missed the promotion and don't want to pay - or can't wait - you can always download a mod to put the skin in the game instead. Much simpler!
