Highly-anticipated sci-fi RPG Starfield finally has a release date, but will no longer launch during the first half of 2023, as publisher Bethesda Softworks announced last year.
A new trailer was revealed today, confirming that Starfield’s release date is now locked in to September 6, 2023, kicking off what could be a rather busy Autumn.
Starfield Release Date
The trailer itself doesn’t show much in the way of gameplay, focusing instead on the RPG’s environments alongside some rather strange doors, structures, and objects that we’ll likely get to interact with or track down in some way or another.
Although we’ll have to wait a bit longer to finally play the RPG, Bethesda’s Todd Howard has confirmed that a Starfield Direct event is scheduled to take place on June 11, 2023, promising a deep dive into what the game has to offer.
A couple more glimpses of Starfield can be seen on monitors inside the Bethesda office that ended up featured in the video. You can watch it for yourself below.
In other news, the RPG is said to feature more than 150,000 lines of dialogue, which will hopefully translate to plenty of memorable conversations.
