Path of Exile 2 is throwing loot at you, especially during the campaign. During it, you will need to constantly switch out gear or buy new items to meet new power requirements. But it isn’t always clear what loot is worth using. Thankfully, we have already seen some loot filters released for Path of Exile 2 that help with this.
These filters highlight specific items or valuable gear, hide items that aren’t important to you, and modify the way some items appear. Here are the best ones available right now.
The Best Loot Filter for Path of Exile 2
The best loot filter in Path of Exile 2 is NeverSink’s custom loot filter, which is available to install and download right now on GitHub.
NeverSink’s loot filters have always been the gold standard, and that is no different here in Path of Exile 2. They highlight key loot and show you valuable rare weapons and gear easily. Beyond just installing it, you can also customise the size of certain items in the UI when they drop, the colour of their UI box, and even the sound that is made when they drop.
Once you download the zip file, simply extract the .filter file into your Path of Exile 2 folder. This should be found in C:\documents\my games\path of exile 2. Once the file is in the correct spot, go to the game’s options and choose the ‘Game’ tab. Here you can select the item filter and choose the NeverSink loot filter. It’s that easy.

Given this involves installing files, loot filters only work on PC. If you are on PS5 or Xbox, you can’t use them.
