Publisher 2K Games and developer Supermassive Games have unveiled The Quarry as their newest cinematic horror adventure game and shared details about the title’s system requirements.
The Quarry will accomodate lower-end PC specs, but to take advantage of every bit of detail it can provide, you’ll need to have some fairly recent hardware.
Part of the reason for its higher system requirements could have to do with the “cutting edge facial capture and filmic lighting techniques” used to bring its story to life.
Either way, here are the PC specs you’ll need to have if you plan on running The Quarry when it launches later this year.
The Quarry Minimum System Requirements
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: AMD FX-8350 \ Intel i5-3570
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GTX 780 / Radeon RX 470
- Storage: 50 GB available space
The Quarry Recommended System Requirements
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 7-3800XT \ Intel i9-10900K
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia RTX 2060 / Radeon RX 5700
- Storage: 50 GB available space
The Quarry follows nine camp counselors as the final day of summer camp takes a turn for the worse. Player choice plays a heavy role in how the story unfolds and which characters end up making it out alive.
The title is set to launch on June 10 and headed to PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4. Here’s what we know about whether or not it’s also coming to PC Game Pass.
