The Valiant brings medieval squad-based RTS back into the spotlight, emphasizing proper use of tactics in smaller engagements alongside a cast of heroes equipped with unique skills. Its official announcement was also accompanied by the first details about its system requirements, revealing how beefy a PC we’ll need to march our way across 13th century Europe and the Middle East.
A quick look at the PC specs required to squeeze everything out of The Valiant should put most worries to rest, given how a 10-series Nvidia GPU or AMD equivalent should do the job. That being said, publisher THQ Nordic does note that this set of system requirements is preliminary and may change in the lead-up to release.

As you can tell, older PCs should do just fine, provided The Valiant’s PC specs don’t change too much over the coming months.
If you’re just now learning about the title, you can get a brief look at gameplay in the trailer below. It briefly shows off the game’s neat mixture of squad-based strategy and RPG elements alongside its heroes’ customizable equipment and skills.
There’s also a rather chunky story-driven campaign as well as two multiplayer modes. One lets players tackle waves of enemies cooperatively while another is all about competing against each other in PvP, so a bit of something for everybody.
