They Are Billions isn't joking around. Not only does it prove that real-time strategy titles still do, in fact, have a place in the contemporary gaming scene, but it also makes a formidable argument when it comes to zombie games, too: there's a market for them if you know how to innovate.
They Are Billions Campaign mode is not yet available for the duration of the game's Early Access stint, though the developers have now announced not only when, exactly, will we be getting it, but also how long they intend it to be.
When it comes to the game's Campaign mode, They Are Billions' developers Numantian Games haven't been very lucky in pushing it to light. Instead of doing a rush job, they've announced that the Campaign mode will be coming once the game releases from Early Access.
Furthermore, Campaign is going to be 40-50 hours long, which is rather substantial for an RTS, to be sure. Developers have also announced more map themes for Survival Mode, as well as new Empire Hero units. As for post-launch plans, there've been mentions of integrating Campaign features with Survival mode, and adding entirely new game modes, too.
If you'd like to face off against billions upon billions of undead, too, be sure to check out They Are Billions on Steam, where it is currently available for €22,99.
