Although it’s a spin-off seeking to carve its own path among first-person action games, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands channels a lot of the energy that made Borderlands 3 great, tons of loot and plethora of monsters included. It also raises similar questions surrounding cross-platform support, given how the inclusion of crossplay can significantly improve the game’s cooperative side.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands crossplay would allow players to party up, synergize builds, and help each other out as they shoot and slash their way through the game’s tabletop realm and the scores of hostile creatures that inhabit it.
After a couple of months of uncertainty, it is now confirmed that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will, indeed, feature cross-platform support at launch.
“Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will ship on March 25 with full cross play for all platforms at launch, including PlayStation,” Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford wrote in a tweet from March 14.
“Incredible work from the engineers at Gearbox Software with thanks to our partners at 2k Games and 1st parties, including Sony, for working together on this.”

Of particular note is how the feature also stretches to PlayStation, which wasn’t the case for Borderlands 3 when it first go crossplay. Hopefully, it’ll be a less bumpy ride this time around.
The spin-off adds a good dose of tabletop fantasy and magic to the Borderlands formula. It’s Borderlands 2’s Assault on Dragon Keep DLC turned to 11, judging by what’s been shown so far, with a multiclass system and Tina’s ever-present explosive personality added for good measure.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is set to launch on March 25 and headed to PC, as an Epic Games Store exclusive, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.
