Total War: Warhammer 3’s patch 2.3 is the final planned update for the strategy game in 2022, its release date bringing a new set of bug fixes and balance changes that didn’t make it into the live game with its predecessor.
Total War: Warhammer 3’s roadmap didn’t initially include a patch 2.3 release date, but Creative Assembly has confirmed that it plans to offer players one last round of fixes before heading off for the holidays.

Creative Assembly’s Community Manager recently confirmed that Total War: Warhammer III’s patch 2.3 release date is currently slated to occur at some point in November, so we only have a short wait ahead of us.

The final update of the year is live as of November 22. Its patch notes reveal the addition of customizable endgame scenarios to multiplayer campaigns, brand-new selection videos for the first game’s original lords, and more.
The AI has also seen changes, including some that alter how it handles dodging spells, artillery and other ranged attacks. The higher the difficulty you play on, the more proactive AI-controlled armies will be in terms of avoiding damage from these sources.
Landmarks from Mortal Empires and the Realm of Chaos maps have also now made their way into the sprawling Immortal Empires campaign, as have new landmarks and 10-slot settlements for certain factions.
With Warhammer III’s patch 2.3 now live, Creative Assembly will share more on its future plans at some point in December.
