Total War: Warhammer 3’s Slaanesh unit roster list has now been revealed, giving us a complete picture of how the Lord of Excess’ forces armies look and play. Their eternal quest for the ultimate sensations see them employing hit-and-run tactics while rebuffing enemies and easily shredding their armor.
Speed is the name of the game when it comes to Slaanesh’s unit roster list and N’Kari, the race’s Legendary Lord in Total War: Warhammer 3, is a prime example of that, acting as a quick and vicious leader that excels at eliminating isolated targets.
His Harvester of Souls ability passively heals him whenever enemy units die in his vicinity, Willing Prey debuffs enemy melee defense and attack capabilities when triggered, while Witstealer Sword increases his base weapon and armor-piercing damage.
As far as Lords go, players can field the Herald of Slaanesh, ascended Daemonettes that excel in melee combat but can also cast spells from the Lore of Shadows and Lore of Slaanesh. Upon gaining enough experience, Heralds can be converted into Exalted Keeper of Secrets which, much like other Exalted Lords, cannot be directly recruited during the campaign.
Seekers and Heartseekers of Slaanesh act as powerful shock cavalry that’s also capable of poisoning enemies, lowering speed and damage. Exalted Seeker Chariots might look frail from a distance, but their many sharp edges make them perfect for shattering enemy lines.
Chaos Furies and Daemonettes of Slaanesh count among the race’s recruitable infantry, as do the Marauders of Slaanesh, Norscan warriors recruited into the Chaos God’s ranks who can wield swords, spears, or Hellscourge whips.
The scorpion-tailed Fiends of Slaanesh then further emphasize the race’s flanking potential while lowering enemy melee defense and melee attacks as they strike.
