Tower of Fantasy is the sci-fi anime-infused shared open-world RPG offering epic combat and a vast alien world to explore, it’s set for an August 11th release on PC and mobile devices and will be available from Steam, Epic Games, Google Play, and the Apple App Store.
With so many ways to play, cross-platform support would be a major boon for gamers looking to play with their friends, regardless of what platform they have access to.
Tower of Fantasy Crossplay
There is confirmation that crossplay in Tower of Fantasy is supported at launch, with players from all platforms appearing in the same world. This does not, however, apply across servers - meaning you won’t be able to play with those on different worlds.
- Tower of Fantasy crossplay: Available at launch
- Tower of Fantasy cross save: Available at launch
Besides crossplay, gamers will be able to play their characters on whatever platform they like with no fuss. If you’ve tried the game out on mobile but moved to PC, it’s simply a matter of logging into your account.
This also works in the reverse, and if you ever feel like chilling out and doing a bit of farming in bed, all you need to do is download the client on your phone, as you’re free to switch back and forth at will. Brilliant!
