Planes, trains, automobiles, and not forgetting boats, is the name of the game in Transport Fever 2. It is a transport simulator allowing the player to build a network of interconnected routes for everything from cargo to people while you try to make as much money as you can. In this article we’ll show you what cheats are available through console commands.
Some days all you want to do is build in peace without the stress of money getting you down. To that end, Transport Fever 2 Money Cheats and Console Commands can help you unwind and enjoy the peace only a simulator can bring.
Transport Fever 2 Cheats and Console Commands
Unlike many games, there are no dedicated console commands you need to type into Transport Fever 2 to get cheats to work. Instead you need to activate the Debug Mode through a file edit. To do this first navigate to your Steam\userdata\USERID\1066780\local folder. The Steam folder may be located directly in your root drive or buried somewhere depending on how you installed Steam.
You will see a file titled settings.lua and this can be opened in a text editor of your choice including basic notepad. Open this file and locate the line debugMode = false. Change this to = true and then save the file. Some versions of the game also allow Debug Mode to be activated from the advanced options menu.
Once this is active, you can use cheats through a series of hotkeys;
- AltGr + a – Reload sound sets
- AltGr + g – Toggle GUI
- AltGr + l – Toggle Lane visibility
- AltGr + m – Add 500k money
