After making quite a splash with its early access launch, Valheim continues to be one of the go-to games for survival enthusiasts, who are aching to know what the release date of its Ashlands update might be.
Ashlands is the name of both Valheim’s third major early access update and the new biome it is set to introduce. Located far south of the map, it’s quite a volcanic place hiding both mysteries to uncover and dangers to brave.
Valheim Ashlands Update Release Date
Developer Iron Gate didn’t commit to a set release date for Valheim’s Ashlands update upon revealing it in January 2023. Stepping into the realm of speculation for a moment, we currently expect to see it going live at some point later in the year.
Since this article originally goes live in April 2023, and we’re nearing the end of the year’s first half, it’s likely safe to assume that the update won’t go live until the second part of 2023, unless it gets delayed further.
