What are the Valorant Season dates? When can players expect new Episodes alongside Acts 1, 2 and 3 of Episode 1 to release?
Aside from gameplay that marries Overwatch and CS:GO, Valorant will rely on new Seasons, which it calls Episodes, to keep things fresh. Each Episode comes with multiple Acts that will introduce new Battle Passes with 50 tiers’ worth of rewards attached to them.
Developer Riot Games revealed that new Acts will begin “about every two months” and, although it didn’t share the start and end dates of Valorant’s Acts 1, 2 and 3, recent datamining looks likely to have revealed them.
Valorant Season Dates
The Valorant Episode 1 Act 1, 2 and 3 start and end dates were datamined by the Valorant Express Twitter account and do reinforce the Act length previously mentioned by Riot:
Episode 1:
- Act 1: 1/6/20 - 4/8/20
- Act 2: 4/8/20 - 13/10/20
- Act 3: 13/10/20 - 12/1/21
With Valorant’s Episode 1 Act 1 currently underway, players will be treated to two more Battle Passes until January 2021.
Provided the leaks are accurate, we won’t reach the Episode 1 end date and Episode 2 start date this year.
The datamined Valorant Act dates also suggest that new Acts will begin on the same day as active ones end, giving players a constant stream of rewards to look forward to.
We’ll likely learn more about the Valorant Season dates as time goes by. We’ll update his article with any new info about Episode 1 and Act 1,2 and 3’s start and end dates as soon as we spot them.

Recently found some files relating to season dates (acts) and when they will release!!!
Episode 1:
Act 1: 6/01/20 - 8/04/20
Act 2: 8/04/20 - 10/13/20
Act 3: 10/13/20 - 1/12/21
January 12 is when Act 3 ends, so I'm guessing we could see Episode 2 come then?
