Publisher and developer Total Mayhem Games has announced a new release window for co-op puzzler We Were Here Forever while revealing that sign-ups for its closed beta are now live.
We Were Here Forever’s new release window announcement was accompanied by two screenshots, showcasing a previously unseen area of Castle Rock, the location players will get to explore when the game launches.
In addition, the developer has also confirmed that players will control the two protagonists from the series’ past entries who, on the one hand, can’t seem to avoid getting trapped in dangerous locations while, on the other, get to further perfect their puzzle-solving skills.
Players looking to participate in We Were Here Forever’s upcoming PC closed beta can sign up to the Explorer’s Post newsletter on the game’s website, which is also how the developer will share more details about the game in the coming months.
If you’re lucky enough to get invited, you’ll be able to try your hand at solving puzzles from one of the game’s seven areas while helping the team squish bugs prior to launch.
We Were Here Forever is currently slated to release at some point in Q2 2022 on PC (via both Steam and the Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.
