Witchbrook is an upcoming magical school and town life simulator from Starbound publisher and developer Chucklefish, whose PC release date has been on the minds of players looking to step into the role of witches-in-training.
Part of Witchbrook’s charm comes from its colorful pixel art and isometric perspective which, at a glance, remind of cozy life sim Stardew Valley. Of course, the game brings its own witchy spin on things and, below, you’ll find everything we know about the game, including details about its PC release date, gameplay, and more.
Witchbrook PC Release Date
Witchbrook has not yet locked down its PC release date, but a PC version is definitely in the works.
All we know at the moment is that the title is in development but “quite a while off yet.”
Witchbrook Story
Witchbrook puts you in the role of a witch-in-training that’s about to “experience the thrills and pitfalls of school-life.” It’s unclear at the moment if we’re looking at a more directed story or if the game will focus on allowing you to freely explore its world and interact with its inhabitants at your own pace.
Witchbrook Gameplay
As far as gameplay goes, Witchbrook focuses on getting to know and building relationships with fellow students and townsfolk all while working on your own magical abilities.
This involves attending classes and completing various assignments, but you’ll also find time to go fishing, grow magical crops, and forage.
The game’s website hints at the way you develop relationships with its characters taking you down different paths, which might net your character a best friend, rival, or even a date for prom.
You’ll also master magical art, brew potions, participate in broom races, and shop for items.
Where can you buy Witchbrook and how much does it cost?
Witchbrook’s price has yet to be revealed. You can find it on Steam with other storefronts or platforms potentially being announced closer to release.
Witchbrook Trailer
None yet, but we’ll hopefully see the game in action soon, at which point you can expect a Witchbrook trailer to be neatly embedded right here.
