CD Projekt Red and Netflix are gearing up for WitcherCon, an online celebration of the wildly popular fantasy universe, and we now know how its full schedule looks as well as what we can expect from the event.
Stretching across two days, WitcherCon’s full schedule includes a series of panels that delve deeper into CD Projekt Red’s video game series – which arguably shone a global spotlight on the world created by Andrzej Sapwkowski– and Netflix’s TV show, but also explore The Witcher’s expanded universe.
Read on below for the first WitcherCon’s dates and times.
Both livestreams will be broadcasted on YouTube and Twitch at the following dates and times:
- WitcherCon Stream 1 Start Date and Time: July 9 @ 10 AM PDT/1 PM EDT/6 PM BST
- WitcherCon Stream 2 Start Date and Time: July 10 @ 6 PM PDT/9 PM EDT/2 AM BST
The two WitcherCon streams will have quite a few common panels but also feature exclusive ones. Memories from the Path: Stories Behind The Witcher Games, for example, is a two-parter during which “developers and key figures from the creation of The Witcher series of games discuss how they bring stories to life in digital worlds, while also reminiscing about favorite moments – and forgotten relics – from the games.”
Monster Slayer: Live the Life of a Witcher explores a “new location-based AR RPG”, while The Witcher: Beyond Video Games is a panel that focuses on sharing “insight into the creative process behind items from the expanded Witcher universe, including comic books and the upcoming board game – The Witcher: Old World.”
You can check out the full WitcherCon scheduled over on the event’s official website. All in all, this sounds like a great way to catch up on just how much Geralt’s reach has extended since the first Witcher game came out in 2007.
