World of Warcraft: Dragonflight has given adventurers a bit of time to accommodate to the Dragon Isles and its new modes of traversal before throwing them into the expansion’s first raid. With Season 1 now underway, patch 10.0.5’s release date marks the next step on the expansion’s roadmap.
WoW’s patch 10.0.5 release date has now been officially confirmed by Blizzard and will bring a new world event alongside the very first opportunity to try out the MMORPG’s upcoming Trading Post feature and more.

After going through its own PTR cycle – they usually last between 2.5 and 3 months –, Blizzard has now confirmed that the WoW patch 10.0.5 release date is slated to occur on January 24. The Trading Post then opens for business on February 1.

WoW patch 10.0.5 also allows players to transmog white and grey quality gear, expanding options for humbler looks. Each of these items will be bind-on-equip and can, naturally, be mixed and matched with any other pieces in your appearance collection.
Traditionally, x.y.5 patches are smaller but nonetheless important for their respective expansions, since they not only add smaller features but also bring with them necessary class tweaks.
