CEO Mike Hayes of SEGA West has said there's no current plans for Aliens vs. Predator 2 from them, and explains the IP is rich enough to explore elsewhere. While the success of Rebellion's AvP was high enough that "naturally you would think" a sequel was a sure thing, SEGA "already had" Aliens: Colonial Marines.
Aliens vs Predator, Modern Warfare 2, Bayonetta join Games on Demand
Microsoft has announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Aliens vs Predator and Rapala Tournament Fishing are now available on Xbox Live Games on Demand, while Sega has also announced that Bayonetta will be available next week.

Sega scraps Aliens vs. Predator console patches, no news on PC
Publisher Sega has pulled the plug on console patches for Rebellion's Aliens vs. Predator, with the PC version seemingly left to continue. The news came via the Sega forums. The rep has "heard nothing on PC patches", and says they'll "keep fighting internally" for console fixes.
