During Activision's annual earnings call, Activision president and CEO Eric Hirshberg revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops III is shaping up to be a major seller, as it is enjoying the most preorders for a Call of Duty game in the past few years.
Final DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare arrives on PC this September 3
PC owners of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will get their hands on its final DLC pack, Reckoning, on September 3, Activision has confirmed. The DLC adds four new maps, the return of the Exo Grapple playlist and Descent, the concluding episode of Exo Zombies mode.
Advanced Warfare's next DLC pack takes Exo Zombies underwater
Reckoning, the final DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is out today on consoles, with the PC version set to roll out in roughly a month. Publisher Activision has released a trailer for the final episode of spin-off mode Exo Zombies, Descent, which is included in the pack. Starring Jon Bernthal, John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and the mighty Bruce Campbell, the Zombies mode has gotten steadily more ridiculous over the last few episodes, and this one appears to take place in some kind of underwater palace.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is getting a blunderbuss and two other free weapons
Sledgehammer Games is releasing three new weapons for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, both of which have absolutely no place in a game about advanced warfare. Not that I would ever complain about a game adding a Blunderbuss. Yes, the archaic shotgun favoured by pirates and people who aren't very good shots is coming to the game's multiplayer, along with the Stg44, a German WW2 assault rifle that long-time fans of the franchise will be very familiar with, and an SVO sniper rifle.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's third map pack Supremacy comes to PC on July 2
Supremacy, the third DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, will be available on PC July 2, developer Sledgehammer Games has announced. The map pack, which features four new multiplayer levels, also comes with the next chapter of the ongoing co-op Exo Zombies mode, this time guest-starring horror icon Bruce Campbell.
