PES 2014 data pack releases for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3
Konami has released the February PES 2014 data pack which includes all player transfers during the first month of 2014, including new kits, balls and boots. There are a bunch of classic strips for clubs too. 16 new boots and 5 new ball styles are part of the data pack, which is available for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of PES 2014. National strips have been updated as well.
PES 2014 to be updated with 11 vs. 11 online mode with Data Pack 2
Konami will be releasing the Data Pack 2 DLC for PES 2014 later this month for free. It brings all the game's team rosters fully up-to-date and includes over 800 new player faces to improve its realism. An 11 vs. 11 mode will also feature for online play, with in-game chat enhanced alongside gameplay tweaks. Online competitions and Master League Online competitions are in.
Grand Theft Auto V storms UK chart, PES 2014 follows
Who'da thunk it? Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto V has only gone and jacked the UK all format chart. The real heist in all this is the $1bn Rockstar walked away with after 72 hours of it on sale. Closely behind - well, not that close - is Konami's PES 2014 as it enters the charts 2nd. The Last of Us rocketed 3rd from 25th for a comeback tour, and Saints Row IV is 4th.

Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 won't be getting a drop of the wet stuff as rain doesn't exist. PES community manager Adam Bhatti reveals the studio are giving sky tears a miss this year. The reason is because they had to "overhaul the whole game" and didn't have time to squeeze it in comfortably. The absence of any Spanish stadium is down to "extremely aggressive" EA Sports.
PES 2014 tutorial teaches about ball control
Konami has released the first tutorial video for Pro Evolution Soccer 2014, which focuses on ball control. Players can also learn how the new control scheme will play out in the new football simulator.
