Digital and mobile to be SEGA's focus to counter falling fiscal returns
SEGA Sammy has lower figures in their latest fiscal report, which they blame partly on the global slump in the video games market, but more digital and mobile ventures will fight this. Game sales in the US and Europe fell to 17.2m units sold, compared to the previous 18.7m. Sonic Generations reached 1.85m sales across Xbox 360, PS3, PC and 3DS.

505 Games' Zumba Fitness has taken the UK all format chart for everything its worth, again. LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean rises 2nd, sinking L.A. Noire 3rd. Virtua Tennis 4 rockets up 5th and Transformers: Dark of the Moon climbs 6th. THQ's UFC Personal Trainer debuts 22nd, Resi Evil: The Mercenaries 3D 21st.
Brawn beats brain as Zumba Fitness bests Portal 2 in UK chart
Science is dealt a blow as Portal 2 was dethroned by Zumba Fitness: Join the Party in the UK all format chart last week. Mortal Kombat nudged to 3rd place. Wii Fit Plus holds 8th while SEGA's Virtua Tennis 4 gets action at 14th, up from 23rd. Homefront sinks to 17th, while Red Dead Redemption climbs 13th.
Portal 2 remains UK chart number one, Mortal Kombat second
Valve's Portal 2 is keeping science 'hot' as it stays in 1st place in the UK all formats chart for another week, followed by Mortal Kombat maintaining its grip 2nd. Call of Duty: Black Ops has fallen as Zumba Fitness storms the ladder again to 3rd. Kinect Sports re-entered the top 20 coming 17th. Pokémon holds strong.
