With E3 launching next week, Microsoft has filed three new trademarks, each titled “Fusion.” Speculation has Microsoft announcing a new gaming series, while some think that “Fusion” could be the name of the next generation of Xbox, rather than Xbox 720. Others think it could be a new version of Kinect.
Each trademark was filed in the United States on March 25th, 2011, called Fusion Genesis, Fusion Sentient, and Fusion Vault. Fusion Genesis was also outed by Australia’s games ratings, which happened to be at the same time Microsoft’s Kinect Me was revealed. The Australian rating states Fusion: Genesis (with the colon) is rated PG and is a “computer game,” which is a catchall term for computer and video games.
Let us know what you think Fusion could be.
