It’s the ”perfect mix of pick-up-and-play and challenging single player”, says Square Enix. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light explores the British icon outside the Tomb Raider series.
Other titles free-to-play through CoreOnline include Hitman: Blood Money and Mini Ninjas. Expected to join them are Tomb Raider: Underworld and Gyromancer.
”This is a great game for CORE®ONLINE, the gameplay is the perfect mix of pick-up-and-play and challenging single player action. It’s exciting for Lara Croft to join Agent 47 on CORE®ONLINE and we look forward to more guests in the near future,” said David Guldbrandsen of Square Enix’s new Hapti.co studio.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light follows Lara as she looks to stop a big bad evil force from releasing into the world, with the help of a 2,000-year-old warrior named Totec. CoreOnline brings the title alive through Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome by a combination of ”Google and Square Enix’s proprietary technology”.
