Open world dino survival game ARK: Survival Evolved has surpassed all expectations, and indie developer Studio Wildcard has announced that the game has achieved more than two million sales while it is still in Steam Early Access, and will be later be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
In addition, ARK: Survival Evolved will be getting Oculus Rift VR support and will also be integrating additional Steam features, including Steam Economy and modding support via Steam Workshop, along with private/LAN servers.
Studio Wildcard has also consistently released content updates, such as a new dinosaur every week of Early Access. They also added two new biomes (snow and swamp), increased map sizes, and are running a PvP tournament called “The Last Stand”, with a $60,000 purse and over 230 players taking part.
