Still pushing ahead with their plans to have a blockbuster MOBA contender, Epic Games outlined their plans for Paragon's beta exit.
Sticking closely to their 'New hero every 3 weeks' promise, the Paragon team have put out 8 new playable characters in 2017 alone.
Bringing the playerbase up to an impressive 7.3 million registered users, it may pale in comparison to other aged MOBA titles like DotA 2 or League of Legends, but it's a number most multiplayer games could only wish to achieve.

Detailed in a new Community Corner video, Paragon is looking to be the best that it can be. Hoping to launch out of beta in early 2018, the road ahead will introduce HUD and matchmaking overhaul, new minions and jungle inhabitants, over a dozen hero reworks and a full redesign of the game's unique, if not complicated, Card system - essentially items, for you current MOBA players. That part is coming next month.
Smaller additions will come in the form of new character voice-overs, in-game voice communications and, finally, a competitive matchmaking mode. You can still play the game for free on PS4 or PC right now, but expect it to be in a much better state as the year goes on.
