Far Cry 5 is a massive game that's home to a great deal of Secrets and Easter Eggs, and it'll be a while before players find them all. For now, we've put together a Far Cry 5 Secrets and Easter Eggs Guide to help you find the best!
See below for references to Stephen King's IT, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Left 4 Dead 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Blood Dragon and more!

Far Cry 5 Stephen King IT Easter Eggs
Ubisoft must be big fans of the new IT movie starring Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise The Clown, or at least the original Stephen King novel, since there are several IT Easter Eggs in Far Cry 5. The first was spotted early - near the town of Fall's End, on the map above, there's a sewer pipe looking a lot like the one in the movie going on to water - and next to it is a single red balloon, the calling card of Pennywise. There's also a dead body just beyond...
But that's not all! In the Henbane Farm (check out the map in the next Easter Egg) there's a rather cool Haunted House. Once you've made it through to get the Prepper Stash, you'll discover a room with a number of references to IT. There's another red balloon, a rather scary note called 'Clown Thoughts' you can read above, a bathtub, a static screen, and... well, don't answer the phone. You might not like who's calling.
Singing Fish (Billy Bass) and Haunted House
The same location as the last IT Easter Egg, which you can see on the map above, has some further cool secrets. Inside the regular house next to a safe is a fish on the wall, which sings when you interact with it. Hello, Big Mouth Billy Bass.
But that's not all! Next to this is the cool Haunted House, with a number of awesome scares... but none of them can hurt you, can they?
Far Cry 5 PUBG Easter Egg (or Left 4 Dead 2)
There's some debate in the community on whether this is a reference to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds or Left 4 Dead 2. Far to the very Easternmost point of the map is Raptor's Peak - climb it to discover the dead body above, grasping a frying pan.
While a frying pan is well-known as a weapon in PUBG, or at least a useful defensive one, the dead NPC himself bears more of a resemblance to Ellis from L4D2 - where the frying pan was also a weapon. We're personally going on the side of the PUBG crowd more though, since the frying pan is arguably the most essential item in the game.
Far Cry 5 Vaas, Pagan Min and Rabbid Bobbleheads
There are three Bobbleheads in Far Cry 5 that you can customise vehicles with, and they're all recognisable. Vaas from Far Cry 3 is the default and he's available all the time, and it shows him as a hula dancer to reference the free physical item that came with the game initially.
Pagan Min from Far Cry 4 and one of Ubisoft's inexplicably popular Rabbids are both unlockable from the Uplay Club Rewards page.
Far Cry 5 Rainbow Six Siege Outfit
The Rainbow Six Siege outfit, like the Bobbleheads, can be unlocked for use within the Uplay Club Rewards page. Buy it there with Uplay Units and you can use it immediately in the game - although you'll only get the benefit if you're playing co-op. Alternatively, if you own Siege already you'll get the outfit for free!
Far Cry 5 Blood Dragon Omega Outfit - How To Find It
In Faith's Region, to the East of the Hope County Jail, lies Grimalkin Radon Mine. Here you can find Guy Marvel, Hollywood director. He's directing a little-known movie called Blood Dragon 3, and he's surrounded by loads of references to Far Cry: Blood Dragon and Trials of the Blood Dragon.
Completing his side-quest will immediately unlock the Omega Outfit from the Blood Dragon games for you to equip.
Far Cry 5 Secret Ending - Beat The Game In 10 Minutes
In reference to Far Cry 4, which had a secret ending right at the beginning if you just stayed seated for 15 minutes instead of investigating all the screaming, it's possible to "beat" Far Cry 5 in just a few minutes. At the start you get the opportunity to arrest Joseph Seed, kicking off the whole game.
Just stand still for a few minutes and eventually you'll get the secret, and far happier, ending. Cute.
If we find any more Easter Eggs we'll be sure to update this post!
