Bloober Team continues its relationship with Konami and announces that following the success of Silent Hill 2 Remake, it is working on the next Silent Hill game. It hasn’t been confirmed if the next game will be another remake or a new entry for the franchise.
Konami says the remake’s success (Silent Hill 2) proved that “Bloober Team had perfectly captured the atmosphere and depth of the original while introducing crucial innovations.”
This trust has laid the foundations for signing another agreement for a new project in the long-running horror series, which started on the PlayStation 1 in February 1999.
“Our collaboration with KONAMI has been incredibly fruitful, and the success of SILENT HILL 2 speaks for itself,” said Konami in a press release emailed to us this morning. “By sharing knowledge and experience, we have been able to create high-quality production together. Of course, we can’t reveal too many details at this time, but we are confident that fans will be just as excited about our collaboration as we are.”
You can find Silent Hill 2 Remake on Steam for PC, and it’s also available on PlayStation 5. It should be out on the Xbox Series X/S in October 2025.
