Alongside violent combat, Doom Eternal’s levels offer loads of collectibles that completionists will ultimately want to unlock.
Doom Eternal’s Super Gore Nest level is no exception, its fleshy hallways and open areas housing a total of 23 collectibles. Here’s where you can find them.
Doom Eternal Super Gore Nest Collectibles
Like with any other level, the Automap, especially with the radius upgrade from your Praetor Suit, can be quite helpful in finding some of the Super Gore Nest collectibles.
Modbots - 2
Progress along the critical path until you find a portion in which you jump between two sticky walls. Enter through the crack that’s behind you as you start jumping and explore the area. On the left, you should spot your first modbot.
The second Modbot awaits in the area right after you use the first power terminal. In it, you need to activate a green switch. When you’re near it, make a right and you should bump into the Modbot.
Sentinel Crystal - 1
Easily found after using the yellow key required to progress the mission. Follow the path toward the objective, look around and you should spot the Sentinel Crystal in front of a screen having “Submit” written in red on it.
Praetor Suit Points - 5
In order to access the first Praetor Suit Point, you first need to obtain the extra life that’s found on the fleshy platform that rises in front of you near the beginning of the level. Once collected, the teeth blocking a nearby entrance will retract, demons will spawn and you’ll have access to the Point.
The second Praetor Suit Point in the Super Gore Nest level is found by taking one of the four teleporters that spawn not long into the Buff Totem encounter.
The third Praetor Suit Point can be found near the area in which you find the Red Key. After picking it up, a previously closed route through an acid tunnel opens up, the ghostly knight waiting at the end. Make sure your RAD suit still has charges.
On the critical path, in the area with lava, look for the fourth Praetor Suit Point right after punching the object required for progressing.
The final Praetor Suit Point is in the second area that’s filled with acid. To get to it, you’ll have to navigate the sticky walls. As you climb them, look behind you. Before reaching the final section, you should spot the knight holding the Point in an opening.
Codex Entries - 3
Right as you hop into the Super Gore Nest level, walk forward. As you’re platforming your way across the rubble you’ll inevitably bump into the first Codex Entry page, which is also the very first collectible you find in the Super Gore Nest level. It’s quite hard to miss.
For the second Codex Entry page, progress until the very first Pinky busts through a wall. Kill it by skilfully filling its exposed behind with bullets, go through the fresh opening and you should see the second Codex Entry page.
The third Codex Entry page can be found in the area adjacent to where the locked Chaingun is after you drop down the elevator shaft.
Sentinel Batteries - 3
When you find yourself in the area covered in corrosive acid, look for a pillar that rotates and shoots damaging projectiles. Move past it and you should spot the first Sentinel Battery in a small opening.
The second Sentinel Battery is found near the Slayer Key as detailed in the Slayer Key section below.
Lastly, the third Sentinel Battery can be obtained by completing the 3 challenges specific to the Super Gore Nest level: acquiring a weapon mod, completing both secret encounters and performing 3 different Glory Kills on Pinky demons.
Runes - 2
Our guide on finding Doom Eternal Runes contains all the info you need to unlock those found in the Super Gore Nest level.
Slayer Key, Slayer Gate, Empyrean Key - 1
Empyrean Keys unlock after completing Slayer Gates (marked with purple on the AutoMap). in order to access Slayer Gates, you first need to find the Slayer Key. The one in the Super Gore Nest can only be obtained after getting the three keys required to complete the level (yellow, red, blue).
Getting the blue key lets you unlock the large fleshy structure with the swirling cars near the beginning. Inside, you’ll find a jump pad. Use it to gain height, look around for a destroyed building covered in fleshy bits and go through it. At the end, you’ll not only find the Slayer Key, but also a Sentinel Battery.
The Slayer Gate can be accessed through a tunnel found in the area where you insert the three keys (yellow, red blue) into their pedestals.
Toys - 3
The first Toy in Doom Eternal’s Super Gore Nest level is found in the room with the fleshy maw that repeatedly slams down on an equally fleshy pillar. On its sides, you’ll notice monkey bars. Swinging on them gets you to the higher levels where you’ll find the first Toy depicting the Soldier (Shield) unit.
The Revenant Toy can be found in the lower area filled with acid, at the end of a corridor found on its right side.
The last Toy, depicting the Mecha Zombie, requires you to have found the Blue Key and reached the fleshy structure with the swirling cars above, near the start of the Super Gore Nest level. Use the jump pad inside and look around for a question mark – that’s the final Toy.
Albums - 2
When you reach a breakable wall with a hologram talking about a blood sacrifice, look through the window on your right – you should see a rotating skull platform with a monkey bar attached. Use the monkey bar to cover the distance and find the Doom III - Main Theme album.
The second album can be found only after getting the Blue Key. Get to the section with the rotating lasers found in the larger open area near where you insert the three main objective keys. The teeth ahead should retract. Walk in, make a right, then left until you spot a question mark: that’s the Wolf 3D - Wondering About My Loved Ones album.
Cheat Code - 1
In the large open area, from across the chasm, look towards the three pedestals where you must insert the keys required for finishing the level. Instead of crossing over, go to the left while looking down below. You should spot a mouth-like opening with pointy teeth.
Drop down and dash inside. That’s where you’ll find the Infinite Ammo Cheat Code.
