As upcoming strategy game ENDLESS Legend 2 gears up for its early access release later this year, developer Amplitude has revealed its first playable faction, the hardened Kin of Sheredyn.
The Kin of Sheredyn are a tough society of interstellar warriors, who descend from an expedition sent to colonize the ocean world of Saiadha. Instead, they became stranded under constant pressure from Necrophage attacks and destructive storms. If that wasn’t trouble enough, their previous leader Commander Garin has disappeared and has fallen into myth.

As for how the faction plays, the Kin of Sheredyn are a protective society who relentlessly defend its lands against any outside threats. Therefore, expect the gameplay to be less offensive and more defensive. The Kin have a big industrial focus when developing their settlements, offering a big boost in the early phases of the game.
Still, with such a valuable early-game economy, you’ll need a big army to defend it. So it’s just as important to build up your defenses and repel any factions that post a danger to you. One of the units you can deploy in the field is the Chosen, elite soldiers wearing powerful mech suits possessing equally strong abilities.
Amplitude promises to share more deep dives on ENDLESS Legend 2 in the future, with the Kin of Sheredyn reveal being the first of more. These future reveals of the strategy game will explore not just other factions but mechanics and other tidbits.
ENDLESS Legend 2 comes to Steam Early Access sometime in 2025.
