The League of Legends Clash mode offers an experience that condenses larger tournament formats while also offering a handful of exclusive rewards.
With the first set of matches kicking off between February 22 and February 23, here are what rewards you can expect to earn from playing the League of Legends Clash mode.
League of Legends Clash Rewards
There are three types of rewards you can earn from playing League of Legends’ Clash mode: Trophies, Victory Points, and capsules.
Winning a bracket will earn you a Trophy of the appropriate theme. The trophy with the highest level will then be shown off in every Summoner’s Rift game for the following two weeks.
Once the two weeks have passed, you’ll have to earn a new trophy for it to be showcased. Trophies can also be seen on a player’s profile page.
Each win in Clash mode earns you 200 Victory Points (VP) which can be used to unlock Banners, a new type of reward that also shows up on Summoner’s Rift and your profile page, and new team icons.
Earned VP scales with the Clash tier your team plays, higher tiers also offering VP for first wins. VP gathers over two Clash weekends but does not last past the theme, so it’s always a good idea to spend it.
Entering League of Legends’ Clash mode earns you a Clash Orb or Clash Capsule when you exit the bracket, regardless if that happens because of a victory or loss. The contents of capsules changed based on how many tickets you use when entering.
One ticket is required to enter Clash and opens up basic rewards. You also have the option of going for premium rewards by entering using 5 tickets.
Naturally, the better you do in your tournament, the more rewards you end up earning. These rewards range from XP boosts to entry tickets, skin shards of varying varieties and orange essence.
League of Legends is out now on PC.
