“Venture into a previously undiscovered area of Black Iron Prison and battle through waves of brutal enemies,” reads the Season Pass description on the title’s Steam page. “Gather credits to upgrade your weapons, or forge new ones, and survive the onslaught as long as you can in Riot, an all-new mode.”
While the Season Pass is available for purchase, its content will start becoming available in February 2023, with its new game+ and hardcore modes.
Striking Distance Studios CEO Glenn Schofield has confirmed that the content included in the Season Pass is “all new stuff that we’ll be working on in the new year,” addressing fan reactions to the pass locking away death animations.
The developer will likely share more details about The Callisto Protocol’s Riot mode release date over the next couple of months, and we’ll update this article as soon as we know more.
The Callisto Protocol is slated to release on December 2 and headed to PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.
