Red Crates are Wolfenstein: Youngblood’s way of getting players to unlock concept art and Silver Coins, which can be spent on gameplay-related thingamajigs. It’s useful to open these crates wherever possible, but if you can’t figure out how to do that, we can help.
In short, though you can’t force open a Red Crate, you can crack it open through the use of special passwords, each of which is unique to a nearby crate.
Wolfenstein Youngblood Red Crates
One of Youngblood’s “secret” collectibles, Red Crates require of you to find their appropriate four-digit passcodes, which are usually found somewhere not too far away from said crates themselves. You’re going to want to look for special floppy disks you can interact with, and then bring it to a nearby terminal for decoding.
Once your floppy is fully-decoded, you’re going to be awarded with a bit of lore relating to the Red Crate you’re about to open: look for a four-digit password. If you’re not much into reading, and don’t feel like going through letters and reports to find said passwords, good news is that the password will automatically be showcased in the Red Crate interface the next time you open it.
All you need to do is type in the numericals you are shown, and the Red Crate will open. God Key doors, on the other hand, are a far trickier prospect. Happy hunting.
