World of Warcraft: Dragonflight’s post-launch journey hasn’t lost any momentum, its steady content cadence bringing us to the point where we’re wondering about patch 10.1.7’s release date and the content Fury Incarnate introduces as part of the MMORPGs roadmap for the year.
WoW’s patch 10.1.7 release date is the final step before Dragonflight’s next major update and is set to go live as PvP Season 2 slowly approaches its conclusion.
World of Warcraft Patch 10.1.7 Release Date
Blizzard has now confirmed that Fury Incarnate’s release date has been locked down to September 5 (NA)/September 6 (EU).

As expected, it acts as a smaller patch that gives us more story to play through and quests to complete, this time revolving around reforging Tyr and other plot points.
Dreamsurges are a new type of public event that, each week, spawns Waking Dream portals in one of the four original Dragon Isles zones –The Waking Shores, Ohn’ahran Plains, Thaldraszus, and The Azure Span.
Encounters with rare creatures and event bosses in these areas also have a chance to drop upgraded gear, according to an article detailing the features we’ll see in World of Warcraft’s Fury Incarnate patch.
The Forsaken and Night Elf are finally getting Heritage Armor sets. To earn then, we’ll have to complete dedicated questlines.
The Forsaken race also gain five new skin color variations, while the Night Elves gave access to face and body tattoos when WoW’s patch 10.1.7 goes live.
As expected, the Dawn of the Infinite megadungeon introduced in the previous patch is getting split into two Heroic difficulty dungeons.
Blizzard’s planned holiday event refreshes also continue, targeting its two big fall celebrations, Brewfest and Hallow’s End. Both are set to receive new rewards, while the latter’s Headless Horseman dungeon encounter can have new mechanics added by speaking to the Wicker men located at the entrance.
A new ping system is also planned to be introduced when it goes live, as spotted by Wowhead.
That is what you need to know about WoW’s patch 10.1.7 release date and the content Fury Incarnate adds.
While we wait, here is what we know so far about when patch 10.2 is slated to go live.
